• Initial Consultation: We start by meeting with you for a design consultation to understand your property and help you explore what you want to achieve from your project. From this initial visit, we will be able to advise you on what is involved and provide a full, broken down estimate of costs.

• Building Control: We provide fully detailed structural drawings that demonstrate compliance with the latest building control approval documents. We work closely with the building control departments at local councils to achieve full planning approval for the application prior to works commencing on site.

• Planning Application: Many projects will require planning approval from the local council. We can help with this application process and advise you on what requires planning and what doesn't. We work with many local authorities and are familiar with their requirements. We will provide the relevant drawings for the submission and manage the entire planning application process from start to finish.

• Structural Drawings: As part of the building control process, we can provide full structural design drawings and calculations.

• Builder Selection: Finding a trusted and reliable builder can be a minefield. RB Design does not have any affiliations with specific building firms, however throughout our extensive experience, we have identified several local firms who have completed past projects for clients. We would be happy to introduce you, should you require a recommendation.

• Design and Build: For added peace of mind, we can offer an end-to-end managed design and build service. Using one of our recommended builders, this package includes everything from the initial plan and design through to build and project completion.

RB Design can advise you on the best option for your property and assist you with all aspects, from design to build.

• Conversions: If you're looking for a straightforward, efficient, and cost-effective solution, then a conversion might be the optimal solution. Using the space you already have means a conversion can be more cost-effective than an extension. Some of the more popular choices include the dormer (loft) conversion and a garage conversion.
