Our History & Ethos

Founded by Chris Harvey in 1984 as 'Harvey Architects Partnership', the practice has evolved over the years, with Alan Hooper taking over the reins in 2017. Our ethos is rooted in understanding the brief and delivering the product of design. We take a holistic approach, combining artistic flair with practical experience to deliver innovative design with comprehensive technical solutions. Our aim is to add value to our built environment through creative and sustainable architectural design.

Our Services

We offer a wide range of services, including architectural design, planning and development, project management, and construction management. Our team has extensive experience in projects within Green Belt settings, historic buildings, and conservation areas, as well as urban and brownfield sites. Meet Our Management Team

Our management team is led by Alan Hooper, Managing Director, and Chris Wren-Foster, Associate. Alan has experience in both residential and commercial development, with a specialization in residential projects ranging from one-off houses to schemes of 100's of units. Chris is our go-to expert for complex, large residential projects and has driven the BIM and 3D agenda, bringing our practice up to date with the latest technologies and state-of-the-art images.
