NICOLA RICHARDSON ARCHITECTS LTD is a professional and bespoke architectural practice, founded by Chartered Architect Nicola Richardson in 2011. With over 12 years of experience in the construction industry, Nicola has worked on a wide range of projects, from small residential extensions to large commercial developments. Her extensive knowledge and expertise have enabled her to provide a comprehensive and tailored service to each client.

The Process

Our process is designed to ensure that every client receives a tailored and comprehensive service. We work closely with clients from the initial meeting to the completed project, ensuring that their needs are met at every stage.

Upon meeting with us, we will conduct an initial consultation to discuss your requirements and review the site or home. From this meeting, we will also ascertain the Planning implications and whether work can be carried out under permitted development rights.

Once the fee proposal and outline brief have been agreed, we will carry out a measured survey and prepare a detailed design. Based on this design, we will submit a Planning Application and work closely with local authorities to ensure approval is granted.

Once planning permission has been granted, we will prepare construction drawings, advise on Building Regulation submission, and oversee the construction process to ensure a seamless and successful outcome.
