Welcome to DK Architectural Services Ltd, a distinguished architectural practice located in South Tyneside. Established in 2011, we have built a reputation for innovative design, effective problem-solving, and meticulous attention to quality and detail. Our goal is to surpass the expectations of every client, whether they are homeowners, architectural practices, or commercial developers. We specialise in architectural and design work for private, residential, listed, commercial, and industrial buildings, as well as projects involving new builds, extensions, loft conversions, and bespoke property developments.

Our Founder: Dene King

Dene King, a member of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists, has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. He has worked on an incredibly diverse range of projects and established his own practice in 2011. Since then, he has completed numerous projects, primarily private houses and extensions, in both principal designer and specialist consultant roles for other architectural practices. His extensive history includes positions at Mario Minchella Architects as Senior Chartered Architectural Technologist from October 2003 to August 2011 and FaulknerBrowns Architects as Senior Architectural Technologist from September 1990 to October 2003. Partnerships

As a partner with South Tyneside Council under the LABC Partner Authority Scheme, we have established a one-to-one working relationship with our preferred local authority. This arrangement offers a single point of contact for all Building Control work in England and Wales, with invaluable local and familiar contacts, unique access to the planning department, the highways engineers, and the local fire service. Additionally, it simplifies correspondence and accelerates the resolution of queries, providing a seamless experience for our clients.

We also provide consultancy services to other architectural practices, offering technical input and detailed design production information in the form of detailed drawings, specifications, and schedules for construction purposes. Our expertise includes specific elements of the work or "packages" such as external envelope, waterproofing, finishes, etc., and site supervision and inspections.
