Situated in the picturesque town of Holmfirth, near Huddersfield in West Yorkshire, we are an experienced and dedicated team of architects, architectural technologists, and designers. Our belief in the importance of a thorough understanding of buildings and their construction, combined with an awareness of the role architecture plays in shaping distinctive urban places and regional landscapes, is at the heart of our approach. We strive to create designs that are sensitive to their surroundings, utilise traditional and natural building materials in a creative and innovative manner, and have a minimal impact on the environment.

Natalie Garside, Director, Architect

Natalie started working at ADP in 1999 while studying at Leeds Metropolitan University. After graduating with a first-class honours degree, she became a full-time Architectural Assistant before qualifying as an Architect in 2004. Natalie became a partner in the business in 2011 and plays a key role as lead architect, managing a large proportion of the practice's new business and residential projects. Natalie's time is split between managing the practice, managing projects, and travelling in and around Yorkshire and Lancashire, visiting contractors, builders, and clients on-site.

When she's not at work, Natalie enjoys the challenges of managing her family, with two young teenagers, and when she finds time for herself, she enjoys swimming, keeping fit, and catching up with her friends and family.

Tony Stead, Director

With almost 40 years of experience as an Architectural Technologist, Tony became a partner of ADP in 2011. As well as managing the running of the business with Natalie, Tony plays a particularly important role in training the next generation of architects and technologists. With a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of construction techniques, Tony is instrumental in ensuring that our designs are practical, buildable, and meet the needs of our clients.
