ArkleBoyce is an architectural practice founded by James Arkle and Graham Boyce, two experienced architects who share a passion for design and a commitment to delivering exceptional results. Our Story

Our journey began in 1999 when James and Graham first met at Newcastle University. They went on to pursue successful careers in architecture, with James working at Faulkner Browns Architects and Graham at Fletcher Priest Architects. In 2014, they joined forces to form ArkleBoyce, bringing together their wealth of experience and expertise to create a practice that is truly unique.

Meet our Team

• James Arkle, Partner: With a wealth of experience in design and delivery of high-profile projects, James is passionate about design and enjoys working closely with clients and the wider team.
• Graham Boyce, Partner: As an associate at a national practice, Graham was responsible for running large mixed-use schemes and sensitive conservation projects. He leads on large complex schemes and is passionate about seeing projects through from start to completion.
• Richard Copperwheat, Associate: With expertise in detailed design, construction, and an understanding of how a design can be built and fully resolved, Richard leads projects through all work stages.
• Kate Holt, Associate: A conservation architect with a keen interest in maintaining and repurposing historic buildings for the future, Kate is an AABC and RIBA Accredited Conservation Architect.
• Paul Hansell, Associate: With a particular passion for office and conservation schemes, Paul utilises his wide-ranging experience to continually push the boundaries of creative innovation in the workplace.
• Tom Harden, Architect: With a strong focus on sustainability, Tom has worked on several large-scale commercial and public projects, and is committed to improving energy efficiency through design.
