Our Story

We are committed to providing a personalized service that is tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. Our directors, Andrew Catto, Melissa Lawrence da Cunha, and our Consultant Architect John Dawson ARIBA, along with our Architectural Assistant Vania Ferreira and Administrator Karen Seabury, have a wealth of experience in the field, having worked on a wide range of residential, commercial, sports, leisure, and healthcare buildings. Our vast experience and local knowledge enable us to navigate the often-complex planning process with ease, achieving a high rate of success with planning permissions and other consents.

• Listed Buildings & Conservation Areas: SPAB-trained expertise in historic building conservation and repair, with deep knowledge of local conservation area requirements.

Our Team

At Andrew Catto Architects, our dedicated team is passionate about delivering exceptional service, ensuring that every project is completed to the highest standard. Andrew Catto, our founding director, brings 35+ years of experience and serves as President of the Association of Consultant Architects (ACA) and chairs the Putney Society Buildings Panel. Melissa Lawrence da Cunha, our director, brings 25+ years of international experience with unique Brazilian and British architectural perspectives. John Dawson, our consultant architect, offers over 50 years of experience including 20 years as principal of his own practice. Vania Ferreira, our architectural assistant, brings 17 years of experience from Brazil, and Karen Seabury, our administrator, has been managing our office operations for over 20 years.
