What We Look For

We look for form and order in all aspects of our design philosophy. We believe that this can bring beauty to any structure, and that the application of this methodology can transform a building's visual appearance. As a general rule, where there is order we would seek to retain and improve it, and where there is no order, we would propose to replace it. This strategy is clearly demonstrated in our award-winning 'Black and White House' project.

What We Create

We create unique and bespoke designs, based on a full review of the client's brief and an understanding of the local vernacular architecture. This ensures that our projects blend in seamlessly with their surroundings. We believe that the 'lines' between inside and outside spaces should flow into one another. Our ethos is to produce spaces that are simultaneously dramatic, calming, and inspirational for those who utilise and enjoy them. We strive for designs that will stand the test of time and continue to inspire for many years to come.

We can fully manage the contract and construction process from start to finish. Our mandate is to advise, guide, and partner with our clients through every stage of their project.

Our focus is on every aspect of the building's design and procurement. This approach spans the overall concept and trickles right down to the nuts and bolts and more minutiae details. We want to be involved in every aspect of your project to ensure that every part of the scheme is completed to an exceptionally high level of quality.

Our Design Approach

Engaging an architect will help you achieve your aspirations and vision, as well as adding value to your project through good design and sound construction. An RIBA chartered architect can help you realise your objectives and guide you through the design and construction process. We provide a service that extends well beyond producing a set of drawings - we will handle the administration, bring value for money, peace of mind, and imagination to your project, while keeping it on track.

Our Team

Matthew and Spencer have over 30 years combined experience working in the architectural and planning industry. Together they make great business partners, drawing from each other's strengths while working alongside their team to create unique designs for both large and small-scale developments.

Our Services

We provide a comprehensive range of services, including RIBA stages 1-7, interior design, master planning, and consultancy services. We are also fully qualified to undertake CDM Principal Design Services.

Our Office

Our head office is located in Barnes, London, but we also have a presence in St Albans and North London, which facilitates good connections to sites across the country.
