Business Details
We are a young architects practice based in Liverpool, working on projects both locally and nationally. We provide a personal and professional service to our clients, aiming to achieve contemporary, sustainable and exciting design solutions. Our experience spans one-off house designs, listed building refurbishments, residential extensions, commercial and industrial projects, and masterplanning. We tailor our architectural services to each specific project, whether a grand design or simple planning advice. Prince Architects was established in 2010 by Ben Prince, an RIBA chartered architect. Ben brings over a decade of industry experience to every commission we undertake.
He has worked on a wide range of projects across various sectors, honing his expertise. Ben studied at the University of Bath and the University of Liverpool, becoming a registered ARB member in 2006. He previously gained valuable experience working at Brock Carmichael Architects in Liverpool City Centre. Our team is dedicated to guiding clients from initial concept through to completion. We ensure every design is dimensionally correct, co-ordinated, and ready for statutory approvals. Our commitment is to stay with our clients throughout the entire process, turning visions into reality.

Services
Concept Design
Our concept design stage translates your project brief into an initial design idea. We develop the scheme by considering functional and practical requirements for your building. This process provides a clear foundation before moving into detailed design work.
Scheme Design
We produce a comprehensive report recording the design concepts for major project aspects. This document identifies which elements are worth developing further into detailed designs. It also clearly outlines any instructions we require from you as the client.
Detailed Design
Our detailed design process takes the approved concept and develops it into a fully co-ordinated plan. We ensure all main building components are dimensionally correct and described in full. This stage provides sufficient information for you to submit statutory approval applications.
Specification
We prepare detailed specifications describing the materials and workmanship required for your development. These documents do not include cost or quantity information but complement schedules and drawings. Our specifications ensure clarity on quality standards for your project.
