AtelierWest offers a full range of services, including:

Architecture: We provide a full range of architectural services, from concept to completion, based on the principles of the RIBA Plan of Work, Stages A-L. We can be involved in certain stages to suit requirements and budgets or carry out a 'full service' over design, procurement, and construction stages.

Design: Our interior design services include furniture design, kitchens, bathrooms, and bespoke joinery/special projects.

Project Management: We oversee and manage small and large-scale building projects, working with main contractors or procuring services ourselves.

Property Development: Our subsidiary company, Edward James Development Management, specializes in developing investment properties for private clients, international and UK-based trusts, and overseas investors. We offer a full range of services, including property sourcing and acquisition, planning, interior design, architectural design, contract administration, and development and project management.

Our Team

Ed Shinton, MA(Cantab) MA(RCA) ARB, has over 10 years of experience in the architecture industry, with a strong focus on high-specification residential architecture and extensive experience in the retail, restaurant, and gallery sectors. Before establishing AtelierWest, Ed worked for Roland Cowan Architects and has a thorough knowledge of the planning process.

Jonathan Chattaway, MSc PGDip BSc ARCH (Hons), has over 6 years of experience in the architecture industry, with a core focus on the prime/super-prime residential sector in central London. Before founding AtelierWest, Jonathan worked at Roland Cowan Architects and has comprehensive knowledge of the development process.
